Like house, like mailbox

We were heading to a friend’s house for dinner in Alexandria, Virginia, and while killing time because we were early, happened to see this custom mailbox. (It could also be a book box; I didn't look inside!)

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

What a great idea. So creative and uniquely personalized. You find some of the most interesting things to photograph. I like how the mail (box) box is the focal point of your image.

They went to a lot of trouble to replicate their house. There is some writing under the top window and I make out the word library, so I think it is a little lending library. What a cool way to do one!
