Seen at the Franciscan monastery in northeast DC. They have a small pool there, and this was the only water lily in bloom. I couldn’t resist a shot, although hopefully we’ll be able to see more of them at the Lotus and Water Lily Festival at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, which will soon be having its first in-person celebration since the start of the pandemic.
