Ready to pop

I had previously posted a picture of new buds on our 20-year-old white peony that survived the shock of a traumatic transplant two years ago. This red one was a volunteer that was also transplanted and is doing well. I can hardly wait for them to bloom!

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Mine have just started to poke out of the soil. I’ll watch for your peony photos while I wait for mine to bloom.
