We went to two major supermarkets today and saw only one person in the two of them who was unmasked, despite the fact that there’s no longer a mask mandate here. It’s difficult to take pictures in a supermarket without attracting attention, but I managed to get this today – everybody has a mask on, including the cashier whose back is turned. As I commented on a previous picture, I find that simply amazing and have to hand it to Washingtonians for doing the right thing.
Tim said he heard somebody say, “I’ve been to places where there are mask mandates, but I never saw anybody wearing one until I visited Washington, D.C.”
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
