One last capture from Tim’s trip to Beirut and Doha, his last official trip since he’ll be retiring from the Foreign Service at the end of the year. We’ve spent most of our married life overseas with the State Department and have enjoyed all our foreign posts – Canberra, Tokyo, Ankara, Okinawa, Ankara, Budapest and Riyadh -- and the travel they allowed us to do. I do have a hard time getting my head around the fact that we’re now in Washington permanently, although in reality I’ve done enough packing out and unpacking and packing out again to last a lifetime.
