We went out looking for newly painted murals from last month’s D.C. Walls international festival, when I encountered this NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue) employee working in the area. I told him I loved his truck and wanted a picture, and he asked if I had been up to Alethia Tanner Park in Eckington to see the new murals. I said we were on our way there, and amazingly, we ran into him again at the park, where he explained how the decorations had been done (something about “wrapping” that I didn’t understand).

unsharp.
