The 6th D.C. Walls international mural festival, formerly known as Pow! Wow!, took place in September, and there are lots of new murals in the NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue) area of Northeast DC. We found this one on a Pepco substation, where last year I had photographed another mural (one of my favorites) pictured below. I must say electricity provider Pepco is really into beautifying their buildings based on this and another substation I photographed earlier this year.

unsharp.
