We drove down to Piscataway National Park, located on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. We were searching for birds, or anything, really, but there wasn’t too much to be seen from the boardwalk, not even skippers and butterflies like the last time we were there. Suddenly I caught sight of a big bird flying overhead and just snapped with the camera set for something totally different. I’m posting this because I've never been able to shoot birds in flight, but this time, I somehow managed to get one.
