We went down to Constitution Gardens for the first time since May, but there really wasn’t a whole lot to photograph other than some mallards and a dragonfly. It’s getting discouraging because there weren’t many birds at the gardens, there aren’t any butterflies at the Franciscan Monastery and my favorite skipper garden on Capitol Hill has been overgrown with weeds (and no flowers).
