Sheltering

I was down in the basement during an incredibly heavy rainstorm and saw something odd outside our window. These poor drenched sparrows were trying to get out of the rain under the window frame. When I turned the light on to see them a bit better, they unfortunately flew away.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Birds know shelter when there is down pour such as your image shows.
The phones come in handy for these on the moment captures.
The rain is frozen to the window nice exposure for sure.

A unique composition, it's great you got a shot before the flew.

Poor things. The rain seems very heavy. The weather has been wild. I do like the capture of the rain drops to show how severe the rain was. V

the bad side of a storm for birds, great picture!

You could send some of that rain up north to our parched city, please. We wouldn’t mind it unlike your poor sparrows.

Awww, poor things. The rain on the window makes it nicely abstract. V

Poor thing, not easy being a bird. Didn't know you had a basement!
