Embracing the lotus bud

The dragonflies were everywhere, but I found this the most interesting place to photograph them.

We’ve now been to the Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens twice in the past month after keeping away during the worst (or the previous worst) of the pandemic. In addition to them being stunningly beautiful, it’s nice to see so many people there enjoying nature.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

Superbe compo! The lotus flower, before blossoming, looks a lot like an artichoke. Maybe the dragonfly is also vegetarian?
