There are a number of large lotus ponds as well as water lily ponds at the aquatic gardens, which can all be accessed by dirt paths running between them, allowing closeup views of the blossoms. The paths can be a bit tricky at times, especially after a heavy rain, when what looks like solid ground is really a mud hole.
*****
We’ve now been to the Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens twice in the past month after keeping away during the worst (or the previous worst) of the pandemic. In addition to them being stunningly beautiful, it’s nice to see so many people there enjoying nature.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
