Mystery bird

Tim found this bird high up in a tree. At first I thought it was a sparrow, but the head isn't right. Can anybody confirm what it is?

We’ve now been to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens twice in the past month after keeping away during the worst (or the previous worst) of the pandemic. In addition to them being stunningly beautiful, it’s nice to see so many people there enjoying nature.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

It is a mystery to me anyway, that head shape and beak doesn't look like any bird I know.
