St. Francis and the wolf

I’ve never seen any mockingbirds on this statue of St. Francis. Maybe the wolf scares them away.

I finally managed to get my computer working, but that was sure a scare since not only would it not work, but all the folders on my desktop, some of which had my photographs, simply disappeared. I do have an external hard drive, but I don't use it every time I take a new picture.

We went to the Franciscan Monastery far up in Northeast DC to look for butterflies, but all we found were bees, mockingbirds, one skipper and a wedding party. I was afraid it might be too early for butterflies there, but it was a good excuse to enjoy their beautiful grounds in any case.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
