We didn’t see too many birds at the gardens, although we could certainly hear them. But we did see this egret in flight, then suddenly he landed and posed for a while. I was thrilled!

We haven't been to the aquatic gardens for a year due to the pandemic so decided to pay a visit in advance of their very popular (meaning very crowded) Lotus and Water Lily Festival, which takes place next weekend. It was nice to walk around the grounds once again, although we might have been a bit early for some of the flowers.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
