This was taken when I could still see the birds in my neighbor’s tree. Now, with it full of leaves, I can hear them but can rarely see them. Although the other day, I was standing at the back door when Mr. Cardinal landed on our deck railing, not three feet from me. Unfortunately, I didn’t even have my cell phone handy for a shot.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.
