The Wharf ‘explosion’

The Wharf district has grown exponentially since we got back to DC from Saudi Arabia. When we left, it was only warehouses and a fish market; now it’s the hottest destination in the city, with countless restaurants, shops and entertainment venues and a boardwalk stretching for at least a mile along the Washington Channel. And even more construction is underway in the distance.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

Socially distanced s’mores, posted earlier:

I'll echo hayl's (Linda's) comment. A well captured image Helen.

It’s great to see waterfronts nicely developed for everyone to enjoy. They used to be just industrial.

I guess if one can't live out in the countryside, by water in a city is a good alternative.

It seems like we are all drawn to the waters edge and with good reason. Looks like a nice community to wander around in. v
