This is the end closest to the White House of Black Lives Matter Plaza, a two-block-long pedestrian section of 16th Street NW on which “Black Lives Matter” was painted on the pavement at the order of the mayor of DC. The glass entry of a building I tried to photograph long ago (but didn’t like the picture) is located there, too, although last time I saw it, there were cars in front of it.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.
