'Addition' to the family home

An interesting “addition” to the Whelpley family house (previous/below picture) is the house at 9 8th St. NE at the rear of the property, which was built in 1905 by James Whelpley for his son. Although unattached, it is built in a Washington row house style and used to share the large backyard with the family home. A descendent of the family lives there now.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
