This B-2 Spirit stealth strategic heavy bomber also flew over Capitol Hill after the flyover on the Mall for the Fourth of July. Tim managed to capture several of the aircraft, but I found this one the most interesting – or perhaps ominous – looking.

I also saw the plane that serves as Air Force One when the president is onboard flying low over the neighborhood but wasn’t prepared to get a photograph. I’m the only one who saw it, and our neighbor (an investigative journalist) asked if I was sure it was Air Force One. I said it was a Boeing 747 flying incredibly low, and if it was any other plane in the severely restricted airspace of Washington, D.C., it would have been shot out of the sky. He agreed that I was right.
