Dolmabahçe Palace, Istanbul

The gate of Dolmabahçe Palace, where the authoritarian President Erdoğan now has an office. The palace served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
