The starlings were really putting on a gymnastics show (below/previous picture), but this one was nice enough to pose for a portrait.

We thought we’d see what Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C., was like in winter. Naturally all the lotuses and water lilies were gone, but we did find some birds during our walk around the extensive grounds.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
