It was sad to see the once-beautiful lotuses in this state, but they’ll be blooming again come summer.
*****
We thought we’d see what Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C., was like in winter. Naturally all the lotuses and water lilies were gone, but we did find some birds during our walk around the extensive grounds.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
