More than meets the eye

The dinosaur exhibit at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History was much more than just ancient skeletons, and it would have taken hours to really absorb it all. I guess we'll have to go back again when we have more time.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Sure is amazing stuff, I always wondered about what their true living colors were! I mean, let's say that in a few thousand years, someone discovers some giraffe bones and let's say they had absolutely no way to ever imagine what a giraffe looks like! Would they imagine it with spots and no two are alike! We'd paint them as being green or maybe grey! It must have been quite a colorful world then!
