We took a drive to Mason Neck State Park in Fairfax County, Virginia. We were actually heading for the national wildlife refuge next door but ended up liking the park so much, never made it there except for a quick drive-by. The ranger told us that they have some ospreys now and that the bald eagles will return next month, so I’m sure we’ll be back. Unfortunately, we only saw one small bird during our several hours there, but the place was full of butterflies and dragonflies.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
