It’s one of the largest freshwater inland reservoirs in the state of Virginia and is 17 miles long, with 200 miles of shoreline. We only visited the state park (which was packed with families who were swimming, picnicking, boating and fishing), but there are a lot of luxury homes built along the lake as well as a nuclear power plant.
Best to view in "Original" or “Auto” because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
