Roman amphitheater, Amman, Jordan

This amphitheater was built during the reign of Antonius Pius (AD 138-161), when Amman was known as Philadelphia.

Sorry I’ve had disable all comments, but hopefully Pbase will take some action on this massive attack on the site.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
