Pelican and Lotus Tower

Tim really liked this pelican, who he said had a much bigger body than our heron friend here in DC. The Lotus Tower appears to be in a deep haze in all his pictures, although I’ve tried to fix it up a bit. I asked why, and he said because of the 81 percent humidity in Colombo.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

This seems to be his favorite place to hang out. The skies do look a bit murky! V

He looks like he's in charge of the place.

the pelican looks perky for such a large bird...Tim chose a strong POV here..
