One last item I photographed at the museum was this cup made by the Fabergé firm around 1900 that includes silver-gilt, enamel, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, garnets, blue topaz and pearls. The cup was crafted in a traditional Russian style.

The other thing we did in Richmond was visit the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, not something I’d normally do on a first visit to a place, but I have long wanted to see their collection of five Fabergé eggs, and this was my chance to do it.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are definitely unsharp.
