I think this was the same dragonfly I had taken a picture of earlier, but now he’s on a different plant, and still posting for the camera.

I had planned to end this gallery, but we went back to the 700-acre Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C., to take another stab at photographing one of the resident herons. Along the way to the marsh we saw lots of other things, including more lotuses, water lilies and dragonflies.
