Another capture that I liked by Tim of the osprey with its catch, taken from the walkway between Kingman and Heritage islands in Washington, D.C.

It’s funny – I bought this lens for me because it’s lighter than my superb 80-400mm, but now Tim’s using it ;-). I used the Sony, which is generally OK for everyday kind of shots but is totally unreliable for birds and such (and is much fussier to use than the D850, so I volunteered to use it). I think next time we go out we’re going to rethink who uses what camera and lens!
