I hadn’t had time until yesterday to take any screen shots of the “babies,” but I’d say they’re just about ready to fly the coop!

The parents, Liberty and Justice, have a nest on police academy grounds by the Anacostia River, and two eaglets hatched between March 17 and 19.

Liberty and Justice built their nest in 2005 and have raised one or two young every year since.
