Crow watch

This American crow was way high up in a very tall tree on Massachusetts Avenue. I find it quite difficult to focus on birds at that distance, and only barely managed to get this one, though not too sharply. The subjects are so small, even when at full zoom, that I just can’t hold the camera steady enough to adequately lock focus. Perhaps portraits are better for me ;-).

These crows are suddenly everywhere in the neighborhood, though, so perhaps I’ll have another chance.

What a great shot. I do like the detail and I think it is sharp. V

Quite a good detailed and well exposed image Helen. Crows are not the easiest birds to shoot.

For a shot so far off, this is a really good image. V
