UAL Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon

Today was the United Airlines Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon, which ran right through our neighborhood, at the 13-mile halfway point. I got out there a bit late, but it was fun to see all the runners heading towards the US Capitol, then across the river to Anacostia and back to Capitol Hill.

I can only find one smiling face, the rest seem pretty tired. I used to run when I was young, but then took up cycling all through middle age, which I found to be a lot more fun- especially when coasting :-)
