Chain Bridge

Budapest, Hungary

I started looking through some old pictures that I never got around to posting, including a few from Budapest, where we went to retrieve Sahraa on our way to Saudi Arabia. This is the famous Széchenyi lánchíd, or Chain Bridge, which Tim, who is currently in Budapest, said is going to be closed for two years for renovations, right after the general elections coming up in April. Interesting timing since it’s a main artery between Buda and Pest, and its closure is going to inconvenience a whole lot of people.
