Kuşadası

Several of our trips took us to Kuşadası, a resort town on the Aegean coast of Turkey. We always stayed at the Kismet Hotel on the right, a luxurious place to spend some down time. There are countless unfinished buildings like the ones in the foreground all over Turkey. I think they leave them like that for tax purposes.

What a great vantage point for this shot. There's such a striking contrast between the hotel in the background and the unfinished construction in the foreground.
