After a dive

We took a drive down the George Washington Parkway, which runs along the Potomac River to Mount Vernon (Washington’s plantation), thinking maybe we could find some birds to practice photographing.

There were a lot of these mallards in a little cove on the river, busy fishing for a bite to eat.
