The third and final stop on the short tour was National Statuary Hall, the meeting place of the US House of Representatives from 1807 to 1857 and now home to part of a collection of 100 sculptures around the Capitol, two from each US state.
I’ve been to this hall several times, and I always manage to take this shot because it has such a gorgeous wall and ceiling. This color is probably closer to reality than the first image I posted of the Statuary Hall dome due to challenging light issues in that scene.
