A more intimate view of the dome

A close-up of the recently renovated dome over the Rotunda. I’ve consulted the website of the Architect of the Capitol in an attempt to make sure the color is correct, but really, it varies from picture to picture, so who really knows. Maybe I’ll have to go back to make sure!
