The Potomac River is full of ice, something I’ve never seen before, so we went out by Roosevelt Island for a very brief time today – brief because it was bitterly cold and quite windy, and my fingers felt like they were getting frostbitten after only a few minutes. (Forget about changing any settings, I could barely use the shutter ;-)). Tim asked if I wanted to stop at another vantage point, but I simply couldn’t face that arctic blast again.
This was the last picture I took out there, and that only because Tim had lugged the camera and that big lens on our short walk. I had to call it quits as soon as I snapped the shutter.
Hanger-on, posted earlier.
