Antalya, Kaleiçi

Antalya is an internationally popular resort city located on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast and bordered by the Taurus Mountains. It was first settled around 200 B.C. by the Attalid dynasty of Pergamon, which was soon subdued by the Romans, who built numerous monuments during their rule.

A typical street in Kaleiçi (literally, inside the castle or fortress), Antalya’s old town, with the ubiquitous carpet dealer.
