Uçhisar

The volcanic rock fortress of Uçhisar, riddled with manmade rooms and tunnels used by villagers for centuries when enemy armies overtook the surrounding plains. See http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/30403605 for a newer (and nicer!) picture of the castle taken from a different perspective.
