The gigantic leaf

We took a quick trip out to the National Arboretum during Thanksgiving week to see if there were any fall colors there since we haven’t had much in our neighborhood. We didn’t find a whole lot, but it was pleasant walking around the near empty grounds on a crisp autumn afternoon.

This leaf was gigantic compared to all the others. I can’t even imagine what it came from, although I’m sure somebody will know ;-).
