The gate

We took a quick trip out to the National Arboretum during Thanksgiving week to see if there were any fall colors there since we haven’t had much in our neighborhood. We didn’t find a whole lot, but it was pleasant walking around the near empty grounds on a crisp autumn afternoon.

I could barely get a picture of this Chinese gate in spring because the pavilion was packed with people, but the other day we had the place pretty much to ourselves.
