We took a quick trip out to the National Arboretum during Thanksgiving week to see if there were any fall colors there since we haven’t had much in our neighborhood. We didn’t find a whole lot, but it was pleasant walking around the near empty grounds on a crisp autumn afternoon.
Taken just inside the Chinese Pavilion in the bonsai garden. That Japanese maple was a brilliant red the last time I saw it. It was also packed with people.
