Dreary Seoul

Tim is now in Seoul on business until Saturday. This was his first view of the city, although the weather improved later. We spent a weekend there on the way to our posting in Okinawa, and I don’t remember much liking it then, either.

I have to agree that it would be a place to stay away from, but that being said, what they have done to recover from the 1950s is amazing

As Jim says, too close to that other Korea for comfort, but it does also look rather uninviting in terms of density and concrete!
