Protest

Sahraa parked herself here in protest because I wouldn’t let her go chasing after Mary, the woman in green who always gives her delicious treats at the park (see previous picture).

Today Sahraa almost dragged me to where Mary was handing out treats to a group of dogs, sat without being told to and proceeded to get like five pieces, more than anybody else. Mary kept saying what a sweet dog she was and even kissed her, something I’ve never seen her do before. Then Mary decided it was time to go home and Sahraa wanted to follow her, but I wouldn’t let her because she had had enough. Thus the protest.

This is such an eloquent shot! Because we have a woman at our dog park who similarly gives out treats, and whom Sasha adores, I can relate well to this!! V

So funny how her leash is all twisted. Her ears are tilted back to be listening to mom but she wants to follow the delicious trail of food. She is a determined girl! V

Treats will have to come at another time, I suppose. I like the inclusion of the other dogs in your composition. Well done. ~V

Funny story and I bet Sahraa could stay in that position for an hour or more. Great capture. V.

Sahraa is smart enough to know what she wants, and also a little greedy, I think.
