This is Tim’s hotel in Oman, my favorite country in the Gulf; I remember visiting this place on one of our trips to Muscat. I wish I could have gone, too, but I don’t like the hot, humid weather there at this time of year, plus I wouldn’t have enjoyed the 22-hour flight (part of the route is in the previous picture). He might have to go back towards the end of the year, at which point I would definitely try to tag along.
