New York Times Great Hall

Today was the annual "Museum Day," when some museums around the country offer free entry. We have been wanting to return to the Newseum here in Washington, but with an entrance fee of $24.95, we just couldn't bring ourselves to pay that in a city where most museums are free. It’s a fascinating museum dedicated to the First Amendment Rights of the US Constitution – freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition.

This giant screen is what greets you when you walk in the door, in The New York Times Great Hall.
