For our wedding anniversary on Monday, Tim arranged a “surprise” dinner (except the restaurant called on Sunday while we were in the car to confirm the reservation) at a new restaurant in DC located in the district’s first and only winery. The dinner was excellent and the winery, which we could only view through windows, interesting.

They do have a lot of wine on the premises (this display goes up to the ceiling), but since they just opened a few weeks ago, this wasn’t produced in Washington but rather came from their company’s operation in New York, Brooklyn Winery.
